29th October-4th November     ‘Lake Pedder: The Journey to Restoration’

        This Exhibition and auction will be a moment for the community to gather and reflect on the significant beauty of the original Lake Pedder and the ongoing cause for restoration.

30th 5.30-7.30pm Opening Reception – Join Christine Milne, Bob Brown, Melva Truchanas, Patsy Jones and friends for the opening of a special reflection and preparation for restoration.

31st 5.30-7 Make the Case to Restore Pedder – Join Christine Milne, Dr Anita Wild and restoration experts to learn about the restoration approach.

1st 5.30-7pm Lake Pedder: our wild heart. Join artists, adventurers, creatives and elders to experaince Pedder and connect to country through their eyes.

2nd 11-12.30 Guardians of the Wild. Join guardians young and old to learn how Pedder inspired a global movement to protect nature.

3rd 2-4pm Lake Pedder Restoration Auction. A collection of rare works by the Sunday Group, Patricia Giles, Max Angus, Elspeth Vaughn and photographer Olegas Truchanas will be auctioned.

29th February – 1st March 2020 Paddle for Pedder

Join adventurers, Pedder elders, artists and campaigners at the Pedder Impoundment for the leap year weekend for a series of bushwalks, short walks, story telling and of course the 25km Paddle to the location of the interred Original Lake. More info to come!!
