Its time to restore Pedder and the planet!
Australia’s damming state of the environment report confirms the damage done to the natural world, but its also highlights opportunities for turning the tide of destruction. One listed opportunity is Lake Pedder (Heritage chapter case study). Indeed Lake Pedder can be the pivotal project to initiate a groundswell of hope, jobs and inspire large scale restoration projects across the world.
Its possible, its practical. We just need the political will. Be the voice for Lake Pedder and ask your local candidate to support restoring this globally unique ecosystem, ask them to push for Lake Pedder to be nominated as Australia’s flagship project in the UNs decade of ecosystem restoration.

Ask your state and Federal representative if they support the restoration of Lake Pedder, the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.
Lake Pedder can be a flagship project in the UN decade of ecosystem of restoration. Lets ensure the newly elected 47th Australian Parliament nominate it. Every present sitting MP has been sent a personal letter and brochure from the LPRI committee, the water[shed] exhibition book, and now they need to hear from you.
