After a long inquiry from the Greens, Hydro Tasmania has been forced to release flood mapping which shows the potentially devastating implications if the “high risk” Edgar or Gordon dams, which impound Lake Pedder, were to fail. The mapping shows that downstream communities in the Huon Valley could be completely inundated.
