Volunteer with Restore Lake Pedder

Join the Restore Lake Pedder Campaign

Have you always wanted to be a part of restoring one of Tasmania’s most breathtaking natural treasures?

Lake Pedder, a stunning glacial lake flooded in 1972, will once again sparkle in the heart of our Southwest wilderness. For over 50 years, a dedicated community has kept this dream alive, and now we need you. Whether you have a few hours to lend a hand, help at community events, or simply spread the word, every contribution brings us closer to seeing the heart of Lutruwita/Tasmania returned to its former glory.

No experience needed—just a love for our wild places and hope for what we can achieve together. Join us in writing the next chapter of this incredible story.

Join us on the first Monday each month for a volunteer catchup

Join us for our relaxed monthly gathering where passionate people come together to share ideas, plan upcoming events, and celebrate our progress. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or curious newcomer, you’ll find a welcoming group united by love for Tasmania’s wilderness. We’ll catch up over light refreshments, discuss what’s happening with the campaign, and explore how you’d like to contribute. It’s a chance to connect with like-minded people, learn more about Lake Pedder’s story, and be part of something meaningful. All are welcome—bring your energy and enthusiasm!
